Stefan’s entry into PR was sparked by the 1987 stock market crash. Despite the tough job market, he took an entry-level position. Two years later, his entrepreneurial spirit led him to convince his mother, the agency’s founder, that his finance and entrepreneurship background was valuable in PR. A business plan and job description sealed the deal.
Stefan combines business expertise with creativity to develop imaginative yet strategic PR campaigns. Clients value his bold ideas grounded in their business goals and the current industry climate.
Stefan believes PR requires personal intellectual curiosity, challenging boundaries and asking the right questions. As an Adjunct Professor at USC, he shares this mindset with PR students. His book “Disrupted, From GenY to iGen” explores the differences between Gen Z and Millennials.
Stefan has a degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship and he actively engages in various roles, from chairing industry associations to serving on boards. He is the global marketing chair for Worldcom PR Group and contributes to Hillel at USC. Past roles include president of PRSA-LA and Americas Region chair of Worldcom.
His next project involves profiling successful “iGeners” in a book, deepening his understanding of the next generation and their impact on communications.
