Background
Anssi Rantanen is a keynote speaker and serial entrepreneur. He studies what the most successful individuals, teams and organisations do differently, and how these principles can be put into practice quickly.
Anssi won the prestigious Nordic Business Forum Speaker Contest in 2019, launching himself into the top tier of the international speaker scene. Since then he has delivered keynotes in more than ten countries, including Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia and Lithuania. His clients include OP, Nordea, KONE, Neste, Sanofi and Vattenfall, among others.
Before his speaking career, Anssi worked as a Growth Consultant at Google in Dublin and went on to found Growth Tribe Academy in Finland. Over the course of his career he has personally helped more than a hundred companies build and execute their growth strategies. He is currently the co-founder and Chief Growth Officer of DeepScan Diagnostics, an animal diagnostics company.
As a speaker, Anssi is bold, energetic and highly engaging. He speaks Finnish, English and Swedish.
World record attempt in September 2026
In September 2026, Anssi will attempt to break a world record: climbing the height of Everest (8,848 metres, over 30,000 steps) on stairs in under 20 hours. The goal is to raise €40,000 for youth sports and activities for underprivileged children in Finland.
This is not just an athletic feat. It is a real-time test of the same principles Anssi teaches to organisations. How do you set a goal that forces you to grow? How do you keep going when motivation runs out? How do you stay in motion when everything feels heavy? And how do you perform under pressure when failure is a real possibility?
The same questions face leadership teams, individuals and organisations every day. The difference is that Anssi is putting himself on the line and documenting the process publicly. In his keynotes, he brings audiences the insights that only emerge when frameworks aren’t read from a book but lived in practice.
Why Anssi’s talks work
Most talks inspire for a moment, but few change behaviour. Anssi’s talks do three things differently from most.
They are grounded in research, not opinions. The examples come from real business and sport, not textbooks. And every framework is first tested on Anssi himself before it reaches the audience.
That is why teams leave the room with clear next steps. The principles are in use in daily life, not just in theory.
New keynote: Becoming a Master of Change
Anssi Rantanen’s latest keynote, “Becoming a Master of Change”, addresses one of the most important skills in the age of AI: the ability to adapt and renew yourself when the ground is shifting under your feet.
AI and constant change have made adaptability a prerequisite for success. The biggest obstacle, however, is not change itself but our natural human reaction to it. Our brains interpret new situations as threats, even when the change is a good one.
In this practical keynote, Anssi explains why change feels heavy even when it should feel like opportunity. How your comfort zone can be systematically expanded so that things that used to feel difficult start to feel ordinary. And how resilience to change is built, both as an individual and as a team.
Anssi Rantanen’s keynotes
Becoming a Master of Change
A practical keynote on how individuals and teams can operate effectively in the middle of constant change, and build the ability to adapt quickly to new situations.
AI and constant change have made adaptability one of the most important skills in working life. The biggest obstacle is not change itself, but our natural human reaction to it. Participants learn why change feels threatening even when it is a good thing. How to expand your comfort zone systematically. And which concrete tools build change resilience that can be applied the day after the talk.
From Impossible to Possible
An inspiring and practical keynote on how individuals and teams achieve things that at first seem impossible. By method, not by luck.
Meaningful goals are almost always difficult. Yet most of us avoid them, because we don’t understand how hard things actually get done. Participants learn how to set a direction that forces growth but is clear enough to guide daily action. Why meaning is the only fuel that carries you through when motivation runs out. How trust and psychological safety show up in daily work and directly affect a team’s learning and recovery. And why progress comes from rhythm and focus on the next step, not from motivation.
What the Best Teams in the World Do Differently
A practical keynote on why most teams operate below their potential, and how the same principles used by elite teams can be adopted immediately.
As AI automates individual work, a team’s ability to create together what no one could build alone becomes a decisive competitive advantage. Most teams never reach this potential. Participants learn what actually prevents open conversation in teams and how it directly affects decision-making and performance. How psychological safety shows up in daily practice as concrete actions, not just a concept. And which simple practices improve team performance immediately.
Culture First
A practical keynote on how to build an organisation that learns faster than its competitors and can keep renewing itself.
Strategies, tools and skills are becoming obsolete faster than ever. The only lasting competitive advantage is the ability to learn, adapt and make better decisions faster than others. Participants learn why organisations repeat the same mistakes year after year. How Supercell, for example, has built a culture where failures are learned from systematically. How an experimentation culture is built in practice. And what companies like Wolt do differently when it comes to decision-making and accountability.
