Kamilla Sultanova is an accomplished changemaker and a TEDx speaker who effortlessly connects with her audience. She is the founder of ConnectUz Consulting, where she focuses on promoting collaboration across various sectors, co-creation, and inclusive leadership. Her work involves bringing together professionals from the private, public, and non-profit sectors in Finland and beyond.

Prior to this, Kamilla had a successful career in global second-hand container sales within Scandinavian shipping companies, including Maersk Line. She has a track record of opening up new markets and achieving the highest revenue in her team. Kamilla draws upon her personal experiences, as well as news, arts, and culture, to deliver engaging talks and workshops that convey her message effectively.

Kamilla is the proud recipient of the MySpeaker of the Year 2023 award in the Responsibility and Ethics category.

Originally from Uzbekistan, Kamilla has developed a strong connection to the Nordic region. Having moved to Denmark, the world’s happiest country, at the age of 18 and later to Finland, she has navigated diverse cultures, industries, and undergone significant transformations in her journey from a Danish town called Herning to Helsinki.

Kamilla is a stereotype breaker, an advocate for amplifying voices, and is passionate about empowering individuals to realize their importance. She firmly believes in the power of representation and the need for role models to shatter barriers and overcome divisions of all kinds.

With her extensive business expertise and a unique ability to bring together individuals from various sectors and cultural backgrounds, Kamilla has influenced countless audiences to become changemakers in their respective fields. She has inspired the development of can-do attitudes and talent management programs, fostering diversity in workplace cultures and changing lives through volunteering and mentoring experiences.

Kamilla is an integral part of Finland’s Talent Boost ecosystem, which aims to enhance the employment prospects of culturally diverse talents. Over the last two years, she has made a measurable impact through her work with the Hanken International Talent program, a recognition granted by Business Finland.

Kamilla is a strong advocate for mentorship and a giving-back culture. She serves as the country chair for the Finnish branch of Global Dignity, a youth empowerment NGO co-founded by Crown Prince Haakon of Norway and Finnish philosopher Pekka Himanen.

Kamilla is an alumni of prestigious networks, including “40 under 40 European Young Leaders” (#EYL40), the German Marshall Fund Transatlantic Inclusion Leaders, and the Finnish Innovation Fund’s Sitralab Changemaker Academy. She exemplifies the art of collaboration and co-creation in a more meaningful world.

As a moderator, Kamilla Sultanova brings boundless energy, the Finnish concept of SISU, and an unwavering focus on the audience, whether in a physical room or a virtual webinar. Living a life that bridges the gap between the contrasting regions of Central Asia and the Nordics, she runs marathons for inclusion, collaborates with local youth workers and futurists on community building, and demonstrates where growth and innovation emerge—in the dynamics between people, business, and culture.
