Shadia Rask

Shadia Rask is a radiant host, with extensive experience in performing. Shadia is talented in creating a connection with the audience and bringing joy and energy to the room. Shadia is also skilled in writing scripts and panel questions together with the producer and client.

Shadia has experience in moderating panel discussions for large audiences e.g. in Think Corner, Logomo and Kansallissali. Shadia’s expertise includes discussions and events related to internationality, diversity, immigration and social responsibility.

Shadia is a wanted host and moderator also to events in English. Shadia is a graduate of an international school, and as a child she has lived not only in Finland, but also in Geneva, Moscow, Hawaii and the Swedish countryside. When finalizing her PhD, Shadia spent six months as a Visiting Researcher at University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.

Shadia is known as a columnist for the Finnish Broadcasting Company (Yle) and for her blog in Taloustaito. She is a frequent podcast guest, and her interviews have been published e.g. in Helsingin Sanomat, Talouselämä, Kauppalehti Fakta, Kauppalehti Optio and Maailman Kuvalehti.
